Begonia Lavina

Plant properties

The double-flowered Begonia Lavina is a striking beauty with its beautiful large orange flowers that have a serrated edge. The Lavina is a newcomer to the Begonia collection and is a real eye-cathcher in any room because of its beautiful orange colour. The leaves are dark green and make a nice contrast with the large orange flowers.

Care tips

Make sure the Begonia Lavina is placed in a spot with plenty of light, but avoid direct sunlight. If the Begonia Lavina is positioned in a dark spot, it will flower irregularly. Make sure the soil is kept moderately moist, as the plant uses a lot of water during flowering. You can simply apply water directly to the soil of the Begonia Lavina. Regularly add some plant food along with the water. Remove the dead flowers regularly. This helps to prevent mildew and extends the Begonia’s flowering period.
